NEW YORK - September 8 2022Record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. https://www.bhol.co.il/news/1439018 The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% increase over 2019.
Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. "It is thrilling to once again witness an rise in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking figure in 2019," he stated. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entry every month. It's a fantastic positive trend that we're happy to see and we anticipate an upward trajectory for years to be."
Canada is not far from the United States of America, is on track for surpassing its tourist arrivals to Israel. נווה פריצקי The country had 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in tourists in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since the country's official opening to all travelers regardless of the status of their vaccination in May, the country has already seen more than 600,400 US visitors.
